New Boutique Hotels in Colombia

Hotel Terrazul in Barichara
The colonial village of Barichara is often referred to by many as perhaps the most beautiful village in Colombia. The small Hotel Terrazul is located just a three-minute walk from Barichara's central square.
The hotel is distinctively designed in the region's typical warm, natural hues and features a total of four Deluxe Suites. The swimming pool is surrounded by spacious, elongated terraces, and breakfast is always served à la carte in the typically pleasant climate.
Hotel Casa Níspero in Cali
In the San Antonio district, the old town of Cali, lies what might be the most charming hotel in the colonial heart of Colombia’s third-largest city. Casa Níspero offers a total of 19 rooms. The 11 suites with private Jacuzzis are all located near the garden in the green courtyard. A climate-controlled swimming pool is also available.
Hotel Agua Barú on the Barú Peninsula
Hotel Agua Barú is located in the Ciénaga de Cholón on the Barú Peninsula and is easily accessible by speedboat or by car from Cartagena. Agua Barú offers a total of six rooms, three of which are located in the main house, while the other three are in independent small cottages, known as "Casitas."
The roof structure made of bamboo and guadua was specially designed by the renowned Colombian architect Simón Vélez. The "Casitas" offer a great view of the surrounding area and the Ciénaga de Cholón. The hotel also offers exclusive options for day trips from Cartagena.
Trekker Glamping in Minca
Minca is located, with a wonderful view of Santa Marta and the Caribbean, directly in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, at an altitude of about 600 meters. The climate is pleasantly warm, and the view from the small glamping hotel "Trekker Glamping" is spectacular. A total of five rooms are available.
The two round-shaped Luxury Suites each have a diameter of 6 meters and offer space for a total of four guests on two levels. These two rooms are easily accessible via the main house of the hotel, which also has a bar and Jacuzzi.
The three Trekker Suites each have a diameter of 7.5 meters and are located on a quiet, wooded slope of the property. These suites are connected to the main house by a small network of paths. This room category is recommended for guests without any knee problems.
Tay Beach Ecolodge near Tayrona National Park
The Tay Beach Ecolodge is located directly on a 150-meter-wide sandy beach near the village of Buritaca. The main entrance to Tayrona National Park is just 20 km west of the hotel.
The total of 41 suites and bungalows (for up to 5 people) are arranged in three rows. The first row offers a direct view of the Caribbean Sea, while the further back rows have a great view of the Tay Beach gardens. For those who find the waves too rough, a swimming pool is also available.
