New Hotel between Salento and the Cocora Valley
You are probably familiar with the Sazagua Hotel in Colombia's coffee zone, located near Pereira. It is one of our best and most comfortable accommodations in the region. The small family-owned business has now opened a second small but exquisite hotel near the Cocora Valley. Both hotels are only about 45 minutes apart.

The Hotel Sazagua – Valle de Cocora is an approximately 150-year-old coffee hacienda, specially renovated by the family. The basic structure has been completely preserved, and the hotel is just about a five-minute drive from the colorful village of Salento. Despite the mountainous terrain, no off-road vehicle is needed to reach the hotel.
The hotel, with a total of ten rooms, offers a certain exclusivity. There are two premium suites with a private garden and Jacuzzi, as well as eight suites with a private garden or balcony overlooking the Andes. The hotel's own restaurant, 'El Noveno,' serves excellent Colombian cuisine.

The Hotel Sazagua Valle de Cocora is located in the tranquil nature of the central Andean Cordillera and has several waterfalls and its own groves of the Palma de Cera, our national tree that can reach up to 60 meters in height on the same property. From here, horseback riding trips, bird-watching tours, and coffee tours with local families can be undertaken.
