Gifts for Our Travelers

Today we want to tell you about what our guests receive upon arrival in Colombia. In addition to the current travel documents (depending on our arrangements with you), people receive a few other things.

As a standard, our guests receive a small brochure listing different fruits of Colombia, a small adapter for the Colombian power grid (110 volts), a key chain, and a bracelet in the national colors of Colombia. All gifts are "packaged" in a reusable bag with a hummingbird logo, hand-painted by our colleague Christiane Lelanz.

For more extensive tours across Colombia, travelers receive additional details from us.

We are happy to gift our female travelers a typical shoulder bag from the indigenous Wayuu people, which is usually very colorful. A typical shoulder bag of the Arhuaco indigenous people, often made from earth-toned dyed sheep's wool, is given to our male guests.

Alternatively, we also like to give some travelers a 500g bag of premium coffee. The coffee is grown by our indigenous friend Oliverio, who comes from the Arhuaco people living high up in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta on the Caribbean coast.
