First Edelweiss flight from Zurich arrives in Bogota

The Swiss airline Edelweiss has indeed landed in Bogota. On November 22, 2023, it flew for the first time directly from Zurich to the Colombian capital, Bogotá. From the Andean metropolis, the flight continued to Cartagena on the Caribbean coast and then back to Zurich from the "Pearl of the Caribbean."

We are delighted that we now have a second option, Edelweiss (in addition to KLM), to fly directly from Cartagena to Europe without having to make a layover in Bogota on the return flight.

The flights operate every Wednesday and Sunday. The flight time from Zurich to Bogota is approximately 12 hours and 5 minutes, while the domestic route from Bogota to Cartagena takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Edelweiss deploys an Airbus A340 for this route, offering a total of 314 seats in two classes (Economy, EcoMax & Business).
