  1. Villa de Leyva: Located in Boyacá, this colonial village is known for its cobbled streets, whitewashed buildings, and large central square surrounded by historic architecture.

 

  1. Barichara: Situated in Santander, Barichara is a charming village famous for its well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture, picturesque streets, and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

 

  1. Guatapé: Found in Antioquia, Guatapé is renowned for its vibrant and colorful houses, adorned with intricate bas-relief designs known as "zócalos." The village is also home to the stunning Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir.

 

  1. Jardín: Located in the coffee region of Antioquia, Jardín is a tranquil village known for its colorful facades, beautiful central square, and traditional architecture. The surrounding countryside offers stunning landscapes and opportunities for coffee plantation visits.

 

  1. Salento: Situated in the Quindío department, Salento is famous for its traditional architecture, colorful balconies, and proximity to the Cocora Valley, home to the towering wax palms—the national tree of Colombia.

 

  1. Mompox: Located in the Bolivar department, Mompox is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its colonial charm. With its well-preserved architecture, narrow streets, and proximity to the Magdalena River, it feels like stepping back in time.
